Ok... as promised... some photos of the Light Expo....

A huge backlit area map greets visitors...

for me this was probably the best part of the whole expo... made me wish i brought my tripod so i could do those fancy shmanzy slow shutter/fill flash stuff....

Ok... don't ask me what the hell that is... i have no friggin idea...

a pagoda thingee and glowing trees... yeah... pretty surreal... i imagine this is how the world will look after you down 500 bottles of cough syrup...

this was actually pretty cool... they did a lazer/light and sound show through this "wall of water" (ok i don't know what it's called... but it is a wall of water... so there...) pretty trippy in an 80's disco kind of way... this was followed by fireworks... which almost killed us after one wayward "pailaw" exploded a few inches from us....

...panic

...laughter

...boredom

trina and myself.... she loves 'em lanterns...

ok so after 30 min. or so, i got really bored... so i decided to go get a cold can of beer... so i bought me a can of san mig light, and bought trina a bottle of c2... damage: 85 bucks... what the fudge? is that possible? such crap...

what's really weird about this christmas tree is not that it's made of CDs... but the fact that it's April... IT'S APRIL!!!!!

...at the MRT station
me: bakit kaya di umaandar ang pila? late na ako...

...overall it was a pretty boring expo. nothing much going on... just lights... a lot of lights! i mean come on... ok ok... so it's pretty cool for like 30 min. or so... but after that, it gets boring... heck, the only highlight of the evening for me was almost getting hit by a firecracker... otherwise... i just saw... ummmmm... a lot of lights.

...this is no enchanted kingdom guys

so if you love lights... go visit the Light Expo...

...well look at the bright side (pun intended) ...at least you'll have an excuse for wearing your sunglasses at night!
